Lewis Hamilton has been warned that he has "had his best time" in Formula 1 as he prepares to leave Mercedes for Ferrari.
The Hamilton-Mercedes partnership is the most successful in F1 history with 82 wins and six Drivers' titles, but Hamilton has not won a race since December 2021 as Mercedes continues to struggle in the ground-effects era, with 2024 Hamilton's worst-start to a season after four races.

Ferrari will not be rushed into Red Bull-inspired SF-24 B-spec
If Red Bull introduced a large development package which involved the reconfiguration of the sidepod inlets and those on the sides of the cockpit at Suzuka, then Ferrari is in no rush to follow with a similar package for its SF-24.
It seems intent on not delivering even a part of an extensive upgrade package until the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at Imola across the weekend of May 17-19th, the seventh round of the season.

Max Verstappen's early 2018 was a prime example of a driver learning on the job as the fourth-year driver had a messy start to the campaign.

Fernando Alonso has declared he will be the first to hold up his hands if he feels his age is holding back his on-track performances.
