Ferrari Chief Executive John Elkann is keen for the Formula 1 team to use the lessons learnt by the success of the sportscar team in winning Le Mans.
The Scuderia returned to Le Mans in 2023, running out winners with James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi and Antonio Giovinazzi taking the victory in what was a disappointing year for the F1 squad.
It could only finish third in the Constructors', down from second in 2022, but Carlos Sainz was the driver to prevent a Red Bull clean-sweep of wins with victory in Singapore.
The 2024 season has started brightly for the team, with a win for Sainz in Australia as it had taken a step forward and is now firmly second-best behind Red Bull, but Elkann is keen for more progress.

"2023 was a difficult season and with little satisfaction for Ferrari," Elkann told a shareholders' meeting.
"Although the victory in Singapore sent an encouraging signal, like with the other podiums achieved, we know that we must continue to work relentlessly.
"[However], we also witnessed the achievement of an incredible milestone in Ferrari's history [with victory at Le Mans].
"It was an unforgettable day that reminded us of the importance of finding the courage and humility to keep improving all the time.
"There are many aspects that made it so special, it marked the victorious return of the team to premier class of the World Endurance Championship, during the centenary of the race.
"The victory showed Ferrari's unique approach and saw the entire company team up to contribute to the hypercar's success."
