Max Verstappen's chief mechanic Lee Stevenson is to depart Red Bull after 18 years with the team.

Stevenson has been alongside Verstappen for all of his 56 grand prix wins and three world championships to date, but is departing the Milton Keynes squad for a new team "at the other end of the pit lane."

Former Mercedes sponsor jailed for 25 years

The man behind a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal with Mercedes that ultimately turned sour has been jailed for 25 years.

In September 2021, the F1 team announced a new long-term partnership with global cryptocurrency firm FTX that was due to last for multiple seasons, with its branding featuring on the cars, drivers' overalls, trucks, garages, and hospitality.

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has issued a rallying call to his squad amid a “brutally painful” period in Formula 1.

The Brackley-based squad has endured a challenging start to the current F1 campaign as it continues to struggle with the current generation of car.

Hulkenberg issues 'worlds apart' concern as potential new F1 shake-up debated

Nico Hulkenberg believes the bottom five Formula 1 teams "are worlds apart" from the larger organisations and is open to a change in the points system to reflect this.

Currently, only the top 10 drivers receive points in a grand prix, with an extra point for the fastest lap, providing that the driver has finished inside the top 10.

Vettel 'flirts' with the idea of surprise F1 return

Sebastian Vettel says he sometimes "flirts" with the idea of making a surprise comeback to Formula 1.

Since Vettel retired after the 2022 season, he has been touted as sure to make a comeback in the same way Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen and Mika Hakkinen all did before him.
